Criteria of identity and purity

The identities of the Lipidox fatty acids are based on the mode of preparation by published methods and further supported by mass-spectrometric analysis and/or analyses by UV, FT-IR or NMR. The chemical purity is >98% as determined by GC-MS and/or HPLC analysis. A document summarizing these analyses is provided with each compound as shown below for 7,10,13-hexadecatrienoic acid (A-1603), pristanic acid (A-1500), punicic acid (A-1803-27), and on the following page for deuterium-labeled 5,8,11,14,17-eicosapentaenoic acid (D-9603).
